"Glabbagol, come into the light... so that we may see you. A drow looks kind of like me, only darker and slimmer," Ezraen offers the hand crossbow back to Surana.

Erevan examines himself. A buckle is damaged and the elf discards the now useless thing. Otherwise he seems unharmed.

"That was unusual," he says somewhat bewildered. "And Glabbagol... did you know about the ooze?"

The floating drow comes back around the corner but stops there. Surana and Orsik can "hear" it now too. Everyone can make a perception check.

"i do not wish to injure my opticals again so i will remain here. i am sorry you lost your drow. i have not seen it. maybe the oozes absorbed it to remove it from the everything. that is their purpose. that is also my purpose, i think.....oh..there are more of you. you replicate fast. did you break the ooze? "

Orsik perception [roll0]

Surana takes the bow back slowly, unable to look away from the strange creature.

She stows the bow, then pulls both swords again, but doesn't move toward the creature yet.

"The ooze attacked us, so yes, we broke it," she says warily.

In the little bit of light that reaches the drow it appears to be dead and deteriorating. Its hands and feet are gone, you can see it's arm and leg bones protruding from the ends of its limbs. Its face has a skeletal appearance and its cloths and armor are falling apart. It is completely motionless as it appears to hover a couple feet off the ground (it leans backwards at an awkward angle). Its mace is hanging in the air, motionless as well.

Ezraen notices something strange about the 'floating' drow. There appears to be a sheen in front of it and it's a bit blurry, like it is behind a piece of glass. It's barely perceptible.

"yes. mostly the stabby lights that broke the ooze hurt my opticals. those light have never been in the everything. did you bring them?"
