Deciding to take another tactic, Ezraen asks, "Glabbagol, would you like to show us around your home? Perhaps we could find a way to the outside."

"you are welcome to explore the everything. everything is not as large as you would think. ii do not know of any way into the outside but a little while before you arrived a new passage appeared so perhaps everything is getting larger."

"It looks like you might fill the hallway, so we can follow you until the next room. The new passage you refer to is not the one we just came from, is it?" Ezraen looks back at the others with a glimmer of hope.

"oh no. it is this why. there is a strange noise coming from it. is the outside noisy?"

It leads you up the north passage and into another oddly shaped room. There are more dark pools on the floor and a passage to the north.

"i am sorry. i cannot clean up this water. i tried but just comes out of me. is the outside this wet?"

Ezraen looks a little confused, "Not usually, though recently there was a tremendous calamity. Some places are wet, perhaps it from an underground stream? If that is the case, we'd best hurry. Glabbagol, show us where this strange noise is coming from, please."

The paladin stays away from the wet patches, for soggy boots is not comfortable. Neither is the gray ooze, for that matter.

Surana follows along quietly, bemused by the odd creature now that she no longer feels threatened by it.

When they reach the room with the pools, she initially looks at them with distrust, expecting one to attack. But after Glabbagol's comment about trying to clean them up, she realizes they're probably not oozes.

Hearing his annoyance that he can't clean up the water, Surana feels a pang of pity for Glabbagol. All alone down here, and apparently not even able to do the one thing that pleases him. Everyone should have a tribe, she thinks. They couldn't give him that, but maybe they could help with the water. She stops and looks back at Orsik.

"Orsik, you have water magic. You make water. Could you maybe"--she makes a gesture halfway between a circular cleaning motion and a crude understanding of a somatic gesture--"make it go away?"

OOC: Destroy Water, if Orsik's willing. He *did* just get a magic weapon from Glabbagol. :)

One casting of destroy water would have almost no effect. One puddle is probably 15-20 gallons. It doesn't really seem to bother Glabbagol that much.

Glabbagol moves pretty slowly so I am assuming you are all actively watching for threats and moving at about half speed so each of you make a perception check and I'll use the better of your check or your passive perception to detect any threats.
