Wow, I love the idea of the converging cubes! Going to use that at some point soon ...
I'd initially hoped to trap my players in a dead end with my cube, but they did me one better. They actually managed to get the party split up by the cube! They opened the door into the hallway and saw the cube approaching immediately on the right, half decided to bolt out into the hallway ahead of the cube, while the other half hesitated and stayed in the room. The next round the cube advanced, pushing the door to the room shut. By the time they got it open again the cube was advancing down the hallway to the left while the others were trying to fight it off. Meanwhile, the ranger (my son, actually!) had managed to alert and rouse a medium sized gang of goblins camping out in a room down the hall.
Woo hoo, three-way fight!!!

Ok look, I make some typos. So do the rest of you and you haven't caught them all. Please do nto harp on me for the occasional typo. I'm really sick of it and it's beggining to piss me off.

The only thing better than a great epic fight is one that the players do to themselves

It sounds like something out of the Tenth Kingdom.... *shudder*
(A rather obscure fantasy movie, about six hours long and rivaling Plan 9 on how poorly it's made. It's worth watching for the laugh.)
