Entophobes, hitting the back button would be a good idea now.
This is inspired by the encroach, a mutant cockroach in Dragon 98 (the Mutant Manual for Gamma World).
Unlike the encroach, which is immune to all energy attacks, this swarm of cockroaches is immune to all forms of magic, including supernatural effects, except those with the force discriptor. They inflict no damage, but do spread all the standard diseases plus anything else the DM wants. They also are very good at getting into unsealed food, potions (by chewing through the cork), books and other paper goods and just about anything else they want to looking for places to lay their eggs.
Obviously the rules on distraction are used with a possibility of nonmagical fear for those characters who know about the diseases.
I am having trouble coming up with a name- suggestions?
