If my character were level 100, I would...

I wonder... exactly what did you kill to get to level 100? Whole armies? Adventuring parties of gods? Could you even get to level 100 without wiping out the entire multiverse?

And more importantly, how many trees would you have to kill for your character sheet? You'd have at least 30 feats+ bonus feats from epic level classes+ any other bonus feats, and tons of spells if you go the spellcasting route, it could be a nightmare.

Retire.

By level 99, I'd have obviously solved all the world's problems, killed a few deities, and granted spells to the others. So, I'd sit back on my porch overlooking the cosmos and barbeque some dragon steaks, or something like that.

Breed and train heroes so I can set them up against other heroes and watch them fight for my entertainment. Acting from the sidelines, I'd be a patron who gave help and information to adventuring groups to watch how well they did. I'd find or even build "dungeons" for them to go into and see how they handled them. Give them a few gifts, save them if nessisary perhaps. then, once they hit 15th or 20th level, I'd arrange with a similarly minded associate to have our adventuring parties fight and see who wins. I'd have to keep a stable of suitable adventurers of all alignments and types so that I would always have a playing piece suitable for whatever game we came up with.

With the shallow XP requirements for 3E? Probably about enough XP to make a 15th level 1E fighter. I wonder when converted to units of Ancient Red Dragons how the two convert? Somebody posted once figuring out the conversion rate of orcs for 2nd level. In 1E, a 1st level character had to kill something like 140 orcs to make second level. A 3E character only had to kill about 20 orcs. I wonder if this disparity continues to higher levels? (Can't look stuff up right now. I'll have to do it when I get home.)

Maybe I'm not shooting high enough, that might be just a bit too easy. Make that two chick Hecatoncheires.

"giggedy, giggedy....Oh yeah!!"

Seriously though, I'd just retire as a tavern owner in a major city like every other high level character seems to do. By 100th level you better have swept through the lower planes and killed a few gods by then. There better be at least 2-3 ancient dragons on your list too.

Hey Bryan898! :)

At the risk of sounding a bit Bob DeNiro 'Are you talking to me?'

Ascending in level is a lot trickier (and more sensible I hasten to add) in 3rd Edition. I suspect my 117th-level AD&D character would have only been about 50th-level in 3rd Edition.

The list of the defeated and vanquished probably contains a bit of everything: primordial dragons, shapeshifting alien wizards, evil deities, attack helicopters, epic mortals, cthulhoid-like entities, mortals in powered armour, living artifacts, cyborg bounty hunters, vampire legions, powerful avatars, unique monsters, fallen angels, robots from the past, arch-liches, mutant giants, demon princes, orders of dragon-riding knights, sentient castles...and yourself.

Yes.

Just the usual amount. :)

Actually I have a solution to the Spellcasting Problem here:
