What?

This poll is for everyone.

For the non-switchers: What will you do with your time instead of 4e?

For the switchers: If 4e didn't exist, what would you do with your time?

For the Debaters: If 4e doesn't win you over, what are you going to do instead?

This is just what you're planning on or expect to see yourself doing. ;)

Play An Earlier Edition: Includes any D&D editions, even with extensive house rules (so even if you loot a few things from 4e)
Play Another TTRPG: Includes d20 system games and other table-top RPG systems
Play Other Games: Monopoly? Scrabble? Munchkin? All of the above?
Play More Videogames: Includes MMORPGs or other games
Engage Another Hobby: Stamp collecting? Working on your car? Chess? Play a sport?
Read/Watch TV/Surf the Web/See Movies/Go Out: There's a wide world of brain-invigorating entertainment out there, after all.
Get More Done: Look, man, that place under the refrigerator ain't gonna clean itself. And when was the last time you cleaned the bathroom, man?
Learn A New Skill: Teaching yourself to cook? Speak arabic? A martial art? Work on your car?
Spend More Time With Friends/The Family: Just hang out, eat some meals, "quality time." With "other people."
Join A Cause: Irked at the world? DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!
Other: Try to take over the world!

I already have a regular board-game group, and I've played video games for an embarrassing percentage of my life so I checked those off even though I'll do them 4th edition or not. I'd actually like to go back to an earlier edition. I never really liked 3rd edition, but everyone I knew only played it. I'm giving 4th edition a chance and will probably play it as I predict it will be necessary if I want to find groups, but I'll secretly pine for the older editions.

I suspect I'll be playing a lot of 3.5 for a while until I semi-catch up on some of the material I have in terms of gaming adventures, etc... but I also suspect I'll find some use for 4e and will treat it as another game system as opposed to how for me, 3.0/3.5 supplanted 2nd edition as game of choice.

I checked a couple of things that sounded good, but honestly, I'm not playing the current version of D&D right now. I didn't have any plans to play it before 4e was announced. I'm probably just going to keep doing what I'm already doing, so saying that I'm going to be doing MORE of anything in response to 4e isn't wholly accurate. My main plans regarding 4e at this point are to 1) Steal a couple of good ideas from 4e for my classic D&D game; and 2) Point out to my friends that I have been using 1-1-1 diagonal movement and HP=mojo houserules for years, so obviously the 4e guys were listening in on our games and stealing my great ideas. :D

I was going to start a True20 campagin when I saw SWSE and thought "That's the way 4th will be and I like it". So if there was no 4E, it'd be True20 for me.

Most likely Epic6 or something along those lines.. Or my own 3.75. If neither appealed to my players, I would most likely take a break. 3.5 is running on borrowed time as is, but luckily, this is a non-issue, since 4e is coming out in just over 12 weeks!

My current campaign has compatability issues with 4E, so we will be sticking with 3.5 for now. That, and engineering school is starting to take its toll on both my free time and my budget.
