D&D 4E If Not 4e, Then...

I've actually been thinking of running a Runequest campaign, though not in any sort of protest against 4e - just been feeling nostalgic. I have the first three 4e books on pre-order, though I'm not sure at this point they will become the new staple for my campaigns. If the group doesn't like 4e, we will happily revert to one of the older editions.

Right now I'm liking a lot about what I'm hearing. If 4E doesn't blow me over, I'll stick with 3.5 (Tale of the Twin Suns).

I'll play and run 3.5e, play MMOs when a group isn't available. And recently my writing skills have gotten up to a standard where I'm beginning to feel comfortable putting them on the web. Course I doubt that many of the posters here would be interested, different community.

Still plan to be playing 3e for the most part, some mutants and masterminds ,a little saga starwars and maybe some shadowrun .

The way it looks now, I won't be switching. I'll keep playing 3.5 with some bits of 4E I like looted.

Plus, the spot under the fridge does need cleaning...

Unlikely to be going to 4E. Will likely play some variety of 3.5 (probably Iron Heroes plus a limited set of additional material to simplify a little), 1E D&D, C&C, GURPS, Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, or a homebrew frankenstein system cobbling together elements from all of the above and possibly a few odds'n'sods from 4E.
