If X were OGL, I'd write Y

Try it. Use your imagination and think of a product you would put real work into if some other project was already in the open. For myself:

If Spelljammer were OGL, I'd write a wicked E6 setting for it in a nonlinear TRAP style and show off what Spelljammer and TRAPs can do.

Yes, treat them as OGL. In a world where I had infinite time TRAPs would be a 100% OGL .pdf already. My man J did the layout on E6 and Raising the stakes but he's just about as busy as I am - eventually I'm hoping we'll have a chance to work up new E6, TRAPs, and Raising the Stakes documents.

If the non-rules text in FFG's Portals and Planes were OGL, I'd flesh the River of Worlds concept out into a full planar setting.

Psion, you should see if you can buy the rights to that back. I really wish I could see that setting.

If Bradley (X) were Obviously Getting Lucky (OGL), I'd write Kaitlin (Y) ... Because she'd want to know about it. Brad has cheated on her before. Dog.

You heard it here first, folks, straight from the official organizer of overwhelming obfuscation whose operating orders obviously involve an obsession with obtuseness.

I'm overwhelmed by the assonance. :D

If Magic of Incarnum were OGL, I'd write a supplement devoted specifically to psionic support for it. :)

If Dark Sun was OGL, I'd revive that setting with adventures, sourcebooks, and the like.

If the warlock class were OGL, I'd write a bunch of quirky new invocations. I think invocations are a good place for weird effects.
