If you could have one super power....

If I actually had my book power, I might enter into stories that I've read and set myself up as a "Grand Oracle" who knows all kinds of things because I read the books. Just think about what would happen if I allowed myself to be inserted, appropriately immortal and immune to balefire, into like the Wheel of Time, where if you read the books you know about a bajillion random plots going on :)

I'd like to have Wolverine's healing factor. I'm not immortal, but close. I can cut myself shaving a watch the cut go from bloody, to scab, to fully healed in a couple seconds. That would be cool.

Depends on how you define it...

If we're talking "Sky's the limit" stuff, I'd go with the ability to alter reality with my thoughts. ( Conscious Thoughts only because I've read Lathe of Heaven and seen Forbidden Planet.) Works like hyper intelligence, but MUCH faster! Gamer nerd dude today, gamer ruler of the world dude in 5 minutes. And #1 rock guitarist of all time. And ripped like a gym rat. And...

If you're talking classic stuff, Invulnerability (not Immortality) has mucho appeal, especially if your invulnerability allows you to negate certain kinetic effects, a la the Juggernought.

On the other hand, I LOOOOOOVE jewelry, so a Green Lantern ring has a certain appeal as well...

Is omnipotence a super-power? If so, I'd vote for omnipotence. Being able to do anything pretty much covers all my bases.

If omnipotence is a power does that make omniinpotence a power also.
maybe I will choose that, or the power to make my arms fall off, like the old comic book character arm falloff boy.
