D&D 5E If you could run or play in any D&D 5e campaign right now, which would it be?

If somebody I knew was running the Vecna adventure, id throw down. Right now my schedule is too full to run or search anything out. It would have to drop in my lap.

For DMing my face to face group probably the Petersen Games' 5e Call of Cthulhu D&D Mi Go Adventure Path. D&D in creepy alien worlds. It appeals to me and fits their sensibilities. I only run D&D and they have been Jonesing for a sci-fi campaign.

For playing there are a number of WotC ones I do not own and have not played in so a bunch would appeal to me. Witchlight would top the list as it seems the fey themes would be fun to play in, with a lot of roleplaying opportunity. For third party APs most I know of I have in one form or another and would prefer to play in something I am not that familiar with. I am down with playing in stuff I am not familiar with though. For the list of ones I know about and do not own, probably one of the Goodman Games OARs of something I did not play in or run with earlier editions (that takes out the Keep on the Borderlands and Temple of Elemental Evil ones) I had fun playing in a 5e campaign of the first one (the Keep one).

I really wish there was a 5e version of Completely Unfathomable for this reason. It's all the fun of Keep on the Borderlands with a heavy helping of Weird. But, alas, there are only DCC and S&W versions currently.
It would be dead simple to convert it. Check out Blog of Holding and you can convert the monsters super easy.

I like what I call ultimate sandboxes. Take everything for a setting, drop it on a map, and let the players direct play. Pick a starting town and go. A grand, sweeping tour of the setting.

I’d want to run that setup in Nentir Vale, Dark Sun, Eberron, and Mystara.

For Dark Sun I’d roll the timeline back to before the novels, Kalak lives and is preparing his transformation ritual.

And then, of course, the Enemy Within. That’s a dream campaign of mine.

Any of those in any of the OSR games I like would be great.

Critical Role. By the power of the OP I would just pull up a seat at the start of Campaign 4 while they all give me funny looks. Too bad, I'm in the campaign now!
I would love to play in an Exandria game. While I haven't really watched much of Critical Role, I love the lore to the setting.

I would expand it by putting Nentir Vale and the continent of Nerath on Exandria. Seems like a natural fit to me, especially with the gods being mostly the same.

I'd love to run or play Courts of the Shadow Fey from Kobold Press. I've been wanting to do something interesting with fey for a while now. I've been running for and playing with groups of 6 or more for the past few years, so I'd like a nice, tight 4-person group that are into in-depth roleplay.
It's a great adventure. I've only read it. Would love to play it. Not sure I am the right kind of DM to run it...but who knows?
