If you could, would you work in the RPG field?

Just curious about whether or not people here would like to work in the RPG field. I know we have a number of them posting here.

Full time, part time, or run an indie shop out of my living room?

There isn't a lot of money in this industry. But I wouldn't mind writing for it part time. I'd have to keep my day job though.

What ever you wanted my friend. I was just asking IN general. Not every one of us is hardcore enough to want to start writing stuff and/or do art work for RPG materials.

Cool. Well so far it's looking like a 6 to 1 ratio in favor of working in the RPG field.

I have already discussed this with my wife, and she's willing to deal with the roughly 75% pay cut I'd end up with if I got a full-time gamewriting gig.

Where is the RPG Field? I''d probably be willing to work there as long as it was in a nice tropical zone.

Well I think there's a few tropical zones Morrus. Personally I'm more of cold weather type, so I'll just have to field it out there.

I voted no. An RPG related job could last me a few years, but I'm more of a fan of job stability and summers off.
