If you had one wish...

No more prestige classes. I can make my own, and I really don't need another batch of overpowered prestige classes, thank you very much.

If Wizards of the Coast gave you one wish, what would it be?
Wizards of the Coast?
That's kinda odd don't you think?
What about a magic genie?
Why couldn't I get a wish from a genie?
Okay, they aren't really but that's not the point.

Anyway, since I'll assume you mean within their possible power...
If it was possible, I'd like the controling amount of stock in Hasbro.
Okay, I know, that's impossible too.
So then, Hmm...
Okay, 100 complete sets of everything ever made by Wizards of the Coast and TSR.
Barring that 4 sets would be okay I guess. :)

If it was just a little wish it would be to make one huge thick tooled leather bound hardback gold leaf full color book that combines the PHB, DMG, MM, MM2,MotP, ELHB, DaD and the small books like SaF, ToB, DotF, MotW, SaS all into one.
They would call it:
"The Dungeons and Dragons: Tome of Myths and Lore" :)

Like M&L, but with the Psionics Handbook, OA, and all FR books packed in. And don't forget illos for the Gem Dragons ! Furthermore, all artwork from Kaluta, Baxa, Elmore and Easley would be replaced by art from Wood, Lockwood, DiTerlizzi and Bader (the guy that made the illos for the dragonne, hippogriff, and gynosphynx in the MM). There's also two or three other couple of artists on my "remove and replace" list, I woulrd check it before wording my wish. Of course, everything would be totally exempt of typos, some rules would be modified according to my house rules (the standard being kept as "Optional Rule in Boxed Text (tm)"), and some materials from some 3rd-party publisher would be added in, after total debuggification and revisal. It would make about six 500 to 600 page books: Player's (without magic spells), DM's, MM, Tome of Magic (all spells, powers and magic items), Manual of Planes (overview of several settings, how to link them, and setting creation help), Worlds 2 (same as before, but with a focus on power groups, myths and campaign integration).

Or maybe a better organization, dunno. Basically, it would be hard to enter GH, FR (+Al Qadim, Maztica, Kara-Tur), PS, Dark Sun, Scarred Lands, Dragon Star, and why not one or two others, plus all the relevant and irrelevant rules, and how to make epic quest with lots of plane hopping between that, with the help, eventually, of Upper_Krust's Worshipper Point System. Mmh. Rather than 6 × 600 pages, I should need 10 × 1000 pages.

It would be a bit cumbersome.

So, rather, all that in clean HTML display packed in a many-colored, hi-resolution e-paper book. (I know all we have is bichromials prototypes with a poor resolution, but it's a wish, isn't it ?)

Release a new Dragonlance setting. With rules for at least five time periods (Pre-cataclyslm, post cataclysm, post war, fifth age, post war of the souls).

That would be cool, I it was at least as good a quality as FRCS I'd buy it.

Heck, I'd settle for something like the Greyhawk Gazeteer (although I'd prefer at least hardbound)... As long as it had rules for the knightly orders, possibly for the mage orders, stats for the different races, rules for handleing and magic, a few maps, outlines of the basic politics of areas, calender, stuff like that... basicly, just an updated version of the Dragonlance Adventures hardcover would please me (Still my favorite book of all RPG time I think).

Have you been to the DL website?
I think they have some stuff.
