I used an amazon gift certificate I had to pre-order the starter set, PHB, MM, DMG, and Hoard of the Dragon Queen. If Dragon Queen is good, I'm sure I'll get the Rise of Tiamat at some point. Normally I'd wait for reviews, but the hype has got me wildly aroused.

Having purchases at least the three core books from the previous editions I'm down for that. I might get the Starter Set as well, for review purposes.
