I'm back. And this time, D&D 3.5 will not kill me.

Welcome back. From what you said in your post, we have pretty much tread the same ground. I really like all incarnations of D&D but find myself going back to the older editions of the game. It's all good; just start playing and remember that above all else, it is a game and supposed to be fun (in otherwords, don't sweat the small stuff)

Yes. Savage Worlds is great. I'm on to WFRP now, but SW is bound to return for me.
