I'm Back...Sorta

Hi!

As of now I am able to play boardgames, with a break about every hour, but lack the wherewithal to manage GMing an RPG. I hope to remedy that by spring, for a group in
LaCrosse wants me to DM for them in April and there is the third annual Lake Geneva Gaming Convention coming up in mid-June.

Cheerio,
Gary

Oh I am not driving from Florida to Wisconsin this spring to hear "Oh I'm too tiiiiiiiiiired to run D&D or LEJENDARY ADVENTURES, sorry!" so you dang well better get rested up now.

Besides, I'm bringing that case of red wine for the Thurs. festivities and that should cushon any long gaming sessions afterward.

Hmmm...

Let's see. A bottle of vino every hour should see me throgh the initial hour...and the second hour after a slight rest and another bottle to bolster my strength. Of course that will mean a cigar and a nap immediately thereafter, a pick-me-up of another bottle of wine so as to be able to get to the second hour of GMing. So one case of 12 bottles is good for a solid four hours of gaming speead over as many days

Ha! Reminds me of the old joke when a friend shows up with the case of beer and you take one look at it and say aloud "Okay...what's everyone else going to drink?" :D

But enjoy it when I bring it; I don't plan on leaving with any (I'm swapping it out for a couple cases of Leinenkugel's Berryweiss).

Leinies are passable, but New Glarus has the best Wisconsin brews IMO. I particularly enjoy their India Pale Ale, Tail Waggin' Barley Wine, and Fat Squirrel Nut Brown Ale.

Betcha you can't guess I am "full bodied and flavorful" ale man. That's why I enjoy red wines so much too.

How sweet of you to suggest that.

You're a barrel of laughs, you old salt. But something's not quite kosher about the way everyone's acting. I mean, being as you're the creator of vlassic D&D, you've let a bunch of punsters sneak up beheniz you, and frankly their puns at your expense makes me want to cuke my guts out. They're gerkin' you around and I won't stand for it. Maybe it seems like I've got a chip on my shoulder, but I'm not going to butter you up. They're spearing you in the back and this I hate to see. You're here to talk about gaming, and I want to pick your brine for a few good ideas, not to sit back while everyone's reuben it in.
