i'm having problems with neverwinter nights gold.
I installed it, ran the config, got it to the game-menu (where you got the play, exit etc things)
but when i click on play, nothing happens. It freezes. When i go to alt+ctrl+delete and bring up the close program display, it tells me that the program is not responding. what is wrong? help.....

my op system is windows me.
it appears like i have all of the system requirments for the game itself.

First step: make sure you have the latest video drivers for your 3d card installed.. then check the Atari support forums to see if there are any known issues with Windows ME and NWN.

Also make sure you update to the latest version, 1.61, just click update when you launch NWN and it should check for the latest version.

thankies! i emailed the people who support my drivers. My problem is, i don't know exactly what product i have, so i used the direct X thingie to find out. i should have the info within a week.

Kirinke, if your wanting to try the fallowing.

Right click on your desktop and go to properties

Click settings from the tabs across the top of the window (It’s usually the far right by I skipped ME.)

Note: The settings tab includes options for see screen size, number of colors and what not

You should see something that says Display and it will show you your manufacture and model name/number.

Or if you have a non-dell or other party computer you can reboot your machine while having your monitor on. Your video driver will trigger before your bios. If you can pull the manufacture’s name, model name/numbers.

If you give me the manufacture and video model name/number I can try and help you out. :)

Also don’t be scared to join the ENworld guild.

Nice artwork btw, yours? :)

ty. i tried all of that. i'm going to have to break down and by myself a new video card. the one i have isn't supported anymore. oh. if you mean the bipedal tiger (i posted on the monster-request thingie. no not mine. i found it on the neverwinter vault site. it was to help whoever decided to take up the challenge of drawing a bipedal white tigress with owl wings. lol i can barely draw believable stick figures.
