Congratulations! I remember the first time I saw our golden having puppies. I saw the first one come out and all I could think of was -"EW! Gross!" My mom gave me a pined look and told to count boys and girls and watch them after the were cleaned. We ended up with 9 puppies. Luckily this was many years ago, and since I have witnessed another puppy birthing with my response being much better that time around.

I want one! I have three cats, who are glorious and adorable and I love them, but dogs just fill up a different niche.

That said, will you be getting her (and them) fixed? I hope so, since there are so many unwanted doggies out there.

They aren't actually my dogs, but the owner plans to fix the parent doggies (who I'm watching for her). The one puppy (or maybe two?) that I am going to keep myself will be fixed early on.

There are indeed many unwanted doggies- a tradgedy, imho. At least my area has multiple rescue organizations- at least two for pugs and one for labs that I'm aware of myself.
