I'm Sad

Robert my friend, sorry for not responding to this, as quick as I should. But you have my unconditional support and good thoughts, heading your way.

Thanks Carl. And I can honestly say getting the EN World account from you last year was one of the best things that helped me feel better about myself and the world. When depressed, I have a tendancy to think the worst of myself and the world around me.

However, when good people, like you, Phil Reed, Hal Greenberg, Doug Herring, and all the others who have given things away just to be nice or as part of a contest for those that can't make to conventions, it makes me remember that world is filled with great people.

What's been happpening after the Katrina disaster has also been an inspiration. Celebrities showing their good-hearts and countries like Canada and Mexico coming to America's aid. (Those are the one's I've heard of. I'm sure there has been more help received from other countries, as well.)

Stay strong my friend, stay friend, and let's see if we have an arguement about Dungeon and Dragons Movie #6? :D

Carl

I'm still looking forward to the D&D Sequel. I'm a little disappointed it won't be in theater, but I understand the reasoning. And since we don't have the SciFi Channel up here in Canada, i'll have to wait for it to premier on "Space" or come out on DVD.

Anyway, later all.

For those looking for information on the subject, I found a web site on depression. A more complex subject than you may have been led to believe.

And I need to take my meds. (Anti-depressant, blood pressure meds (counters one side effect of the anti-depressant), and a blood thinner (aspirin :) )) When you get to be my age one of your biggest concerns is the size of the medicine cabinet in your home. :D

KF72,

Glad to hear you're doing better, all things considered. When nothing else works, go ahead and puts some downer tunes on. Works for me. If I had a CD or DVD burner I'd do a compilation disc or two of Justin Hayward songs. He does contemplative songs well.

Thanks, mon ami.

feeling better will happen, I know it will. It's just going to take some time. Christmas, this year, is going to be hard, as will his birthday.

Just think of the happy times and not the sad time of the loss. That's what I've done after the death of my Grandmother over 2 years ago.

Then please consider this most humble gesture from me.

Your account will be renewed by year's end.

Salute.
