LOL I happen to collect barbies I think this set will go nicely with my King Arthur and Guinevere and Merlin and Morgan set. For you comic book fans they are coming out with a catwoman barbie.

Sometimes it good to be a girl.

Hello,

D&D fans grumbling about shameless exploitation of beloved fantasy literature. The scope of the irony there is breathtaking. The dolls are scarring now, but make them out of lead at 25mm tall, and then they'd be cool, right?

I am not now at all sure that the tendency to treat the whole thing as a kind of vast game is really good - certainly not for me who find that kind of thing only too fatally attractive.

- J. R. R. Tolkien, in a letter of March 1955.

Terrible, shame on you, I was only mildly scarred, now I'll need therapy for life :x

Of course you do realise that Barbie is in fact a german prostitute named Lilli

(although I suspect that Lilli's actually her grandmother and that the current incarnation of Barbie isn't the orginal - its been what 40 yrs aint it? Oh and do we really beleive that Kelly is just her 'little sister' - come on her and Ken have been on the make for years!)

I was at a store a few weeks ago when MojoGM pointed out a Barbie dressed in a fairy outfit, I think for some sort of ballet. I turned into 'Super Girly Girl' and decided I wanted one for Christmas...

Of course, I collect stuffed animals and that's just as bad. Yes. Being a girl definately has it's advantages...

Bah, make 11-inch tall articulated G.I. Joe into Aragorn, not that sissy ken. You can't drag Ken from a Worg - he'd fall off too easily! :)

(Hmm... My pekingese is just the right size to play a worg... :))

Eh, what's the big deal? I happen to think this looks pretty good all things considered.

However, I agree with Henry that Ken's too much of a wuss to be Aragorn.
