Imp Buckler defense broken?

Would Imp Buckler defense work with a 2 handed weapon as well? Why would no fighter go with it and a 2 handed weapon if thats it. And do the two weapon defenses stack? It seems absurd to waste 3 feats on 3 ac if they dont and still doesnt make sence still why wouldnt you pick imp buckler defense over it? With a enchantment bonus it would completly rule over wasting 3 feats. Thanks for any help you may be able to provide.

It's not in the SRD, or I'd post it here, but I'm 99% sure it's only for 2 weapons. 2 handers don't apply.

Why wouldn't someone use it? Well, it gives -1 to hit. Instead you could take an animated large shield. The AC is 1 less than the equivalent buckler for the magical + cost, but it doesn't take a feat.

So, animated shield, greatsword and armour spikes it is then. :)

I agree, IMO the 2 weapon defense feats are a lot of investment for not much help... I house ruled it to be 1 feat that gives +1 shield bonus to AC for each off hand attack. Works fine for us.

It says "Benefit: When you attack with a weapon in your off hand, you may still apply your buckler's shield bonus to your Armor Class.". So could be debatable in either way. Some may say a weapon is "in one's off hand" when wielded with 2 hands.

But anyway, this feat is not at all broken. If you count magical shields, you can use +X Animated Large Mithral (or whatever material) Shield with a two-handed weapon.

I also agree that the feat will benefit the two-handed weapon fighter, though since the weapon is held in both hands -- one of which is the so-called "off-hand" -- the fighter would take the -1 penalty to hit while using the buckler.
