I can't speak for anyone else, naturally, but let us know if you need a donation drive. I got my membership several months ago, so if y'all need it to keep running, I could put another $25 up, easy. Either through PirateCat, or through some other system (Worlday or whatever).Morrus said:I'd rather not go into it. But I will suggest that you go to Google, type in "paypal" and check out some of the sites that come up. It has been a very expensive New Year for me...![]()

Thank you for contacting PayPal.
Tracking information is the number provided to you by the shipping company
when you ship merchandise. Example would be UPS, FedEx or USPS.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us again.
Sincerely,
Bob
PayPal Account Review Department
Thank you for contacting PayPal.
PayPal's Seller Protection Policy seeks to limit chargeback liability
resulting from a buyer's fraudulent use of a stolen credit card and/or
false claims of non-shipment of goods for purchases made through the
Service for payments received through PayPal of up to $5,000 per year when
the following conditions are met:
1) The seller is a Verified Business or Verified Premier Account (U.S.).
2) The seller ships to the buyer's Confirmed Address
<https://secure.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=p/gen/shipping-address>.
3) The seller can provide reasonable proof-of-shipment which can be
tracked online. This documentation must show that you shipped to the
buyer's Confirmed Address. For transactions $500 or more in value that are
initiated between November 15, 2001 and April 19, 2002, and for
transactions $250 or more in value that are initiated on or after April 19,
2002, the seller also needs to provide an online proof-of-receipt in the
form of a signature from the buyer. The signature is part of the
proof-of-delivery service provided by most U.S. carrier companies,
including the U.S. Postal Service. Because comparable proof-of-shipment is
not currently available for electronically-delivered items, we are
currently unable to offer Seller Protection for digital goods and other
electronically-delivered items.
4) The seller accepted a single payment from only one PayPal Account for
the purchase. (Multiple payments from different accounts for a single item
are a fraud indicator. Sellers should not accept such payments.)
5) The seller ships to a domestic (U.S.) buyer at a U.S. address.
6) The seller ships within 7 days of receiving payment.
Unfortunately you have not met all the criteria to be covered by our Seller
Protection policy. As a result, the amount of the transaction has been
deducted from your account. Please allow up to 5 days to see the
adjustment on your account.
We value your business and regret that you have had this experience. To
avoid similar experiences in the future, we recommend that you read our
Security Tips on our website located at:
<https://secure.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=p/gen/protections>
If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us again.
Sincerely,
Pamela

Silver Moon said:I don't know if it will do any good, but I sent the following message to PayPal:
"On November 3, 2002 I authorized a payment of $ 25.00 to a Mr. Russell Morrissey. As of today, two months later, I have discovered that even though PayPal completed the initial transaction, taking the money from my account, your company will not allow Mr. Morrissey access to this money that I wish for him to have. I am very disturbed by this, and do not understand what gives you the right to do this, as it appears to me to be a clear case of fraud and theft. I have no intention of using your service again until this issue is resolved. I also teach marketing to college students at two local colleges, and am very tempted to cite this as an example of unethical business practices. Please feel free to contact me with further status regarding this account."
