Improved Arcane Lock?

I seem to remember an 2E version of the Arcane Lock spell -- may have been called Improved Wizard Lock then -- It had the added feature of allowing the caster to designate a certain number of people who could freely pass through the locked door. Can anyone recall this spell? If so what are the details and how do you think it would work in 3.5E?

I would just up it by a level and let the caster designate one additional person per level who could use the lock.

I couldn't find this in 2E myself (I think it was 1E originally) and ended up making it for a campaign whose notes, alas, are now lost to history.

I sort of think this might also be in "Redhurst: Academy of Magic," but couldn't swear to it.

Sounds about right on the level, but I also recall it improved the portal's hardness/durability. Some other details would be nice.
