V Vargo First Post Jun 2, 2007 #1 Let's say I don't make my save against some reflex save-based area attack. I'm blinking, and I have improved evasion. Now, multipliers are additive - 2x + 2x = 3x - but does that extend to divisors? Would I take 1/4th damage (1/2 * 1/2) or 1/3 (1/2+1) damage?

The Souljourner First Post Jun 2, 2007 #3 Only applies for multipliers, not divisors, so you take 1/4.
RangerWickett Legend Jun 2, 2007 #4 Heh, actually, 1/2 = x0.5, so if he takes half damage from improved evasion, and half damage from blink, then you add the multipliers of 0.5 and 0.5. He takes full damage.

Improved Evasion applies that same calculus. Click to expand... Yeah, and if I'm a mounted fighter with spirited charge (doing double damage) and make a crit, I apply x2 of what?
