Improved Fate of the Void question

Hey, I had a question regarding the Improved Fate of the Void feat. (Might have been asked before so plz redirect me then :D)
Normally fate of the void pact boon gives you +1 bonus to any single d20 roll you make during your next turn. And it is said that it cumulates (for multiple cursed enemies dying), so 3 cursed enemies gives you a +3 bonus to a d20 roll.
Now Improved Fate of the Void feat says; your fate of the void grants an additional +1 to the d20 roll. So I guess if your pact boon procs once you have a +2 instead of +1 to the next roll. But what if 3 cursed enemies fall... a +6(3*2) or +4(3+1)?
Maybe my english fails here, but I'm not sure :D.

Because the Feat is non specific...
"Your Fate of the Void grants an additional +1 to the Dd20 roll"

I would say it's a judgement call whether it was intended as "+1 per d20 roll" or "+1 per Fate of the Void (use)"
...but since there aren't that many Star Warlock around, I'd give them the benefit of the doubt and allow +2 per kill. It's only for that round, and with a +6 it *might* actually matter for once.

My reasoning is that it's a pretty weak pact boon and needs a little help anyway.

It gives a +1 bonus to the D20 roll. That's all.

You generate a cumulative +1 bonus from your curse, and when you apply that bonus to the d20 roll, the feat gives you an additional +1.

IMHO the IFotV feat's +1 bonus triggers on the use of the accumulated pact boon bonus (specifically, the d20 roll), so it would be a flat +1 applied after you sum up the number of times your pact boon triggered since your last turn.

It's basically an incentive to use it soon and not accumulate a lot of it, since that gets you the most of the feat if you use it often.

If you don’t use this bonus by the end of your turn, it is lost. -PHB page 131

And I agree, +1 to the d20 roll means you get 1+ number of cursed enemies who died since the beginning of your last turn.

I'm sure that Merls or another Dev said that it was IFotV made it +2/pact boon activation.
I'm damned(or maybe cursed? ;) ) if I can find it now though :(

You think you remember a Dev or someone saying it worked that way at some point but can't actually reference it?

That changes everything.

Maybe you are referring to a custserv answer? I'm sure that they said it was +2 per pact boon activation. However, we all know that custserv isn't very reliable...
(note: i'm not saying that you are right or wrong, i'm simply saying what i remember about this rule. By the way, i read it as being +2 per activation, and i agree that it's not worded clearly)
