Improving saves

First Post
I was looking for ways to improve my saves and I was wondering if there is a resource or a guide for how to do this. If you want to give suggestions without a link to a guide that's fine too. Thanks. (3.5 by the way.)

just a quick thought without digging too deeply, increasing the stats involved Con for Fort, Dex for Ref, and Wis for Wil.

Magic items have affects too

again off the cuff thoughts...

There is always sucking up to the DM...lol

Resistance, level 0 spell. Can be made permanent. Nightshield spell, cover (for Ref), some alchemical and/or augmented substancies (for Fort and/or Will). Many of those can be found on scenario specific books.
Iron Will, Improved Reflexes and/or Greater Fortitude feats, and many other number of regional/background feats, specially Forgotten Realms ones.

Some classes, like paladin, add Wis, Int or Cha to your saves. Some feats do too, but they are very rare and hard to find. Familiars for spellcasters, magic itens like cloacks and other things.

If the DM doesn't use partial saves and BAB rules from UA, just multiclass a lot. A monk 1 / Druid 1 / Ranger 1 / Bard 1 has base saves of Fortitude +6, Reflex +6, Will +6 with only 4 levels invested, for example. Doing this WILL kill your BAB, casting progression, and skill acquisition, though.

I was looking to max out my saves as well and I noticed nobody in group was playing a cha based pc. The ways to beef your saves are feats/items/class/ and temp buff spells

items: as I mentioned b-4 the cloak of resis is best bang for buck, especially if another party member can make it.

feats: see above post/response

now as far as classes
Monks and Favored Souls are max saves across the board
Hexblade and/or Paladin offer great saves

In upcoming campaign they want me to make a gestalt build and I was really looking at a Paladin/Favored Soul with the power of personality feat. This was looking very good.

You mentioned Druid would Monk be a good dip? I would think the loss of spell progression would be a killer, I aint ever played a Druid, so what do I know.

Well, "thou shalt not sacrifice thy caster level" and whatnot...

That said, Monk dip is pretty nice for a Druid. Especially if like me, your DM doesn't like the idea of a monk's belt giving +wisdom to AC (I also reduce the outrageous price tag) and just treat it as a level 5 monk's +1 AC. Flurry of blows on a pounce (if you take a pouncing form) is also sexy and by RAW can be followed up with all your natural weapons as secondary attacks. Monk AC still doesn't beat what a Beastskin armor will provide, but it's a heck of a lot cheaper (free) and stacks with any mage armor buffs the party arcanist or a wand can give you.
