The Wild Cohort feat on the wizards website (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/re/20031118a) seems to get mentioned at least once a month. Usually accompanied by comments such as 'Nice idea, but not as good as "Insert combo here." I was toying with the idea of upscaling it a bit to make it more useful and was wondering if anyone else had done anything similar. My current version keeps the current list, but increases the Extra Tricks by 1 (To match the Animal Companion list), and adds Link to the table for 6-8th (Link matching the ability in the animal companion table).
A minor change, maybe, but is it enough to make it more of a worth while as opposed to flavorful feat?
