Yeah I totally screwed up that entire combat.

I had basically decided to just bite the bullet and bring in a new character but Destan wanted Motega to live on.

So as Funeris siad, my new PC becomes an NPC that we'll see shortly.

Destan and I worked out the details on my 'return' so it would make sense and might play a role later in the campaign but it never came up again.

I will note here that the Rorn are more of a druidic faith and do not follow the Valusian gods, so none of the problems with the rules for raisng the dead.

Not to say that reincarnation can't get a little hairy.....

Besides, its the way it went down for us. Its only proper it plays out the same way for the readers.

Oh...and it was also good to hear how many of you cared for Motega. It makes me feel good that I could bring about that emotion through my askew viewpoint.

I'm sure hobbit_killer enjoyed that too. Sadly, all those posts were lost in the Terrible Crash of 2006.

You were in the midst of the Minetown when it crashed I don't think you got to the death and if you did it was right before the crash.
