i know what you mean... i want to stop buying D&D minis so i can start saving money for the Star Wars minis coming out next year -- but those preview shots of Dragoneye and Archfiends... hoo boy!

The Dragonseye minis are pretty sweet.

They had samples at Gen Con SoCal, and I got two boosters in the preview tournament; the dragons I saw look pretty cool (too bad they don't have any Huge or larger). If I'd stuck around, I'd have gotten a third booster, but I had other stuff to try. Whoever won the tournament got a complete Dragonseye set...

In all honesty, he should have... but he did get WotC's permission beforehand to use the name "Arcana Unearthed". If WotC knew at the time they were going to put out a similar named book they should have never given Monte permission in the first place or just opted for a different title. Again, it's just a bad idea to have two such high profile books with similar names.

Monte originally wanted to use "Unearthed Arcana". He changed teh title after WoTC told him know that they might use it on a future release.

You know, I'm not trying to pick on you or anything Wombat, you're certainly entitled to your opinion, but I noticed this as well. So I did a little search. Now I certainly haven't looked at every thread you've posted in, but I did look at several.

Never found one positive comment about anything.

Yep.

I got very excited about Arcana Unearthed, Testament, Book of the Righteous, and Skull & Bones.

The problem is that all I am seeing now is rehashes for 3.5

Since I have not, and do not intend to, changed to 3.5 all I can say is that I am being left behind

On the other hand, my pocket book is excrutiatingly happy

The Dragoneye Mini's are great.
I got 3 boxes of them at the Gencon Pre-release Quickstrike Tourny.

Very very sweet mini's.

Dunno. I think the SL stuff isn't 3.5 rehashes. (Though I will admit Edge of Infinity: Scarred Planes MIGHT be similiar to MotP. )
