There are several WotC books comign out that I'm probably going to buy (UA, Planar handbook, and so on) plus the Dragoneye minis do look pretty cool. I like how they are filling little niches that show the versatility of the D&D system. (Plus I'm a sucker for an off-the-wall, little used figures!)

I'll look Eberron (sp?) over before I pick it up. It sounds interesting, but not enough so for me to want to pick it up sight unseen.

This is exactly why I love Dragon, The Internet, and my FLGS being 3 blocks from my house! :-D

I'm not as lucky to have my FLGS right around the corner, but there is one a half an hour away which isn't so bad and an even better one an hour away...not quite as convienent, but I'll gladly make the trip if there are enough items that I need to pick up.

Reading between the lines of that column, it sounds like there will be VERY little new material in the Player's Guide to FR.

Oh and the Harper Scout/Agent still sucks :p

Disappointing.

The problem is that all I am seeing now is rehashes for 3.5

You're not the only one seeing the rehash.

Of course, just for the record, I am excited about Exile featured in the column.

As for the Player's Guide to Fruit of the Loom, I'm...cautious about that book being nothing but Prestige Classes, Feats, and Skills. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but not sure I want to blow $$$ just for that.

Disappointing.

That's the impression I got as well. That product went from a must buy to a wait for reviews item.

The only thing I'm interested in for PG: Faerun is this: Where is Orcus and why hasn't he killed that drow cow Kiaralasee?! :p :)

While it is true that the Player's Guide to Faerun will be updating a lot of spells, feats, and prestige classes to 3.5e, the book will also have a lot of new stuff. One thing in particular I know that the book will be containing is information on each plane in the Forgotten Realms cosmology. Heck, that alone will probably be my deciding factor in whether or not to buy the book.
