Yep, when they originally appeared in the 1E Fiend Folio they were named Kenku. In Oriental Adventures more mythologicaly accurate Tengu were introduced. Evidently now someone has decided to re-invent Kenku in a more larcenous vein to further seperate them from the original (except to D&D) asian version.Wombat said:I must be missing something here. LOL...I rather liked them myself..../snip/...The treatment of the Kenku (sp?) also was not liked by me--katana-armed sparrows didn't do it in my view.../snip/...
