Indy folks: where can I get drunk at Gen Con?

Hey Folks,

In Milwaukee I had a few places I could reliably hit with friends to hoist a few alcoholic drinks. that place with the patio that overlooked that canal was a favorite. The Safehouse was always too crowded and/or boiling hot for me.

Unfortuantely I know absolutely nothing about Indianapolis.

So could any Indy Locals on the boards please point me in the direction of a nice watering hole? I prefer a place with booths, I could care less about music, though I hate a place where the music drowns out conversation.

I'd hate to think that I'd be stuck hosting a huge piss-up in the ENnies Judge's suite (Shared with Psion and Crothian) :)

You just stay close to your fellow Canucks, son, and we'll sniff that beer out, wherever it is...!!

;)

Edit: Even if it does smell a little more like water than we're used to...

It's a convention center. There'll be bars all over the place. :D

And actually, TB, didn't Morrus tell you? We're holding the Eric Noah Lookalike Contest in your suite. I hope that isn't a problem...!

This is actually a typo from PC. What he meant to say is that we're holding the Eric Noah Lookalike Contest in your suit.

Whoops, my bad. We ARE asking people to oil up first, though, to make it easier to take the suit on and off. That's just common courtesy, i'm thinking.

One day, Billy, one day we will get together and go on a bender together. Now that my daughter is getting a little older, I am thinking that mayyybe next year I could go to Gen Con.

Not a problem as far as I'm concerned, but it does mean I have to get a haircut and find some "Librarian" clothes :)
