At a guess, beyond fluff text, similar power sources will share similar mechanics in how they work across classes.

For example, Divine classes might tend to focus on AC buffs and healing, Arcane on Damage boosts and direct damage, while Martial relies on skill based tricks.
 

Excuse me for my ignorance, but who/what is an Israeli translator? What does it have to do with D&D 4E? And why/how would someone from Israel know more "secret" info about 4E than someone from the same country the company (WotC) is located in?

In the post that was linked earlier, someone who had some connection with the publisher in Israel who will translate 4th edition, leaked some information.

Official translators will naturally have information in advance because they must take care of the translation, the editing and and the publishing of the books.
