Info on the WFRP city Middenheim?

Carnifex

First Post
I'm currently running a d20 campaign set in the world of Warhammer - I'm not using the WFRP system, instead a mish-mash of d20 system materials. The party are likely to end up in Middenheim before too long, and I've put thought into getting the Middenheim: City of Chaos book that was done for WFRP, but since its OOP, getting hold of it seems nigh on impossible.

So I was wondering if anyone knew an useful info about Middenheim, the factions and noble families within it, the layout and interesting aspects to it; or if anyone knows of any good online sources of info about it?

Marienberg I could help you with; Middenheim, not so much.

:(

It's possible the players might end up in Marienburg at some point - but far in the future. I just wish that WFRP wasn't OOP so I could get hold of the resources much more easily... Being able to just buy City of Chaos would really help.

Hey Carnifex,

"Power Behind the Throne," the third book in The Enemy Within campaign for WFRP has an abbreviated overview of Middenheim, exceptional detail on some of its personalities, and a map. It may still be available in some stores.

You may also want to head over to Mad Alfred's WFRP site. If you can't find decent info there, chances are you'll be able to find a link that'll help.

The title of the book you're looking for is Middenheim: City of the White Wolf. I hope that helps you track down a copy. To my surprise, I saw one for sale in a games store about eighteen months ago. I haven't come across it since though.

Cheers for the link, nothing on that site of much use but hopefully the links will turn something up...

Getting hold of TEW will probably be just as hard as getting the Middenheim book :(

City of the White Wolf was the name of the first version of the book - City of Chaos the name of the second version.

As your local FLGS if they can special-order you a copy of the book: you never know if one of the distributors they deal with happens to have a copy sitting in a warehouse....
