Yeah, it feels that way to me too. OTOH, Warlocks get Ritual Casting too, so they may be even there.

Are you saying that Warlocks get the Ritual Casting feat for free like Clerics and Wizards?
If so do you have a source?

Did any of the level 1 at-will powers do lightning or thunder damage?

I'm sure that I've seen a 1st level wizard thunder damage power somewhere - a close blast that did some damage and pushed targets.

Are you perhaps thinking of the low level wizard "monster" that has force push abilities and a lightning attack if I'm not mistaken?

Wasn't that in one of the early previews (against Goblins at a farm house) where the Wizard used his staff against the ground, did some damage and pushed some of the goblins back a few spaces.
