Healing Word

Encounter (Special)
Divine, Healing
Special: You can use this power twice per encounter, but only

once per round.

So... if i take Initiate of the faith do i get to use Healing Word twice in one encounter per day or just once per day?

Once per day. Specific rules override General rules.

If they had said "during one encounter per day", then the Special would work.

Yeah, and another Question.

Mm, yeah, it is only once per day.

I have another question about it, though...

Does the Healing Word granted by Initiate of the Faith scale like a Clerics? i.e. If I'm a sixth level Fighter/Cleric, and I use Healing Word, is it 2d6 additional? Will it become Burst 10 at 11th, etc.?

Look at talent description in Character Builder. I'ts really twice per encounter, but only once per day.

If that's what the CS says, then the CB is mistaken. WotC has been asked this precise question, and they've said point blank that "once per day" literally means once per day.

I'm looking at the Character Builder screenshot he posted, and I don't see his point.

The feat says "You can use the power once per day", then shows the stat block of the power, which has the Special line, "You can use the power twice per encounter".

It's pretty clear from what appears in the Character Builder that the two conflict, and we know that the feat takes precedence in this case since it's imposing a restriction on a power which is otherwise unavailable...

"WotC has been asked this precise question". I didn't know that. Then the CB is mistaken, really mistaken. The stat block shows cleary that the power is a Daily*(star) power (black color), but with the special line, like the encounter power of the cleric.
