This is a great free product, though I imagine it to be of limited interest to a majority of gamers---I can see why you released it for free: It makes a nice goodwill gesture and gives people a look at the format/quality of your books in general.

I'm looking forward to Alchemists & Herbalists (thanks for the nice preview!) and Spells & Magic. Can we get a preview of Spells & Magic soon? I'm curious to see how it compares to FFG's SPELLS & SPELLCRAFT.

Just looked at Ench of Mystic Music by Spencer Cooley and Ink and Quill by Bastion and both are real worthy products to have, playing a bard (still low level) as of this point they both had nice extras that made playing more fun and enjoyable w/o unbalancing anything, kudos to both companies .

Indeed. We'll release a preview of Spells & Magic in May that will include some materials from the book along with the Table of Contents so you can see what else is in there...

Ink & Quill looked very great (I like that kind of stuff) all until I got to the prestige class section...

• Why does a Barrister gain spells? And divine spells nonetheless???
• Hey, the cryptographer looks great! until... lots and lots of spell-like abilities... Does noone have any skills nowadays??? It seems like they just use magic instead... It would be much cooler if they could do those things with no magic, but just pure skill...
• Musical Composer: Great! But wait... If I were a great composer, I'd focus all my skills and attention on composing music, not learning magic.
• Playwright: Veeeeeeeery good...
• poet: more spells?????
• The scholar: Also magic? It seems that almost no matter what you're good at, magic is part of the game
• Scribe: As with scholar.

Well, it seems you can't do anything cool without magic nowadays
