Inquisitor Prestige Classes

Does anyone know of a good Inquisitor (or similar) prestige class other than the one in Defenders of the Faith? I'm looking for something with a focus outside of the priest's own order (think "Salem witch hunter," without all of the false persecution... ). Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My DM wrote one up for his homebrew. I'll ask him if I can post it. Its a church related guy with a focus on judgment, combat, and sleuthing. Like if Holmes worked for the Pope.

That would be great! That's pretty much what I'm looking for (someone who "works" for the church that tracks down evil cults/cultists and the like).

Why not just use the Inquisitor from DotF and re-write the description? The splatbook PrCs are a hell of a lot more useful if you're willing to ignore the garbage descriptions they come with.

Sorry to pimp Morningstar again, but there's an inquisitor PrC in the sourcebook...
