+(insert #) enchantments on Adamantine Weapons, etc?

I think that the idea that the natural bonus for weapons made of adamantine not stacking with magical bonuses is just wrong. If iron can get a +5 enchantment to improve the quality of the weapon and the enchantment remain at +5, why does a +5 adamantine dagger not have a total bonus of +6? The +5 increases the effectiveness of the weapon, so why does it effect adamantine differently from plain steel? I do not see the logic in this. yet another rule I'm dropping for my upcoming campaign.

Well i just say that if enchantments improve on any current qualities posessed by an an item, why should special materials such as adamantine and things such as mighty composite bows be any different? they simply improve the current weapon's capabilities.
