Absolutely. The current price and content make it a good deal. It will become even better once the Character Builder and other apps are released.

But at the heightened price once all apps are out, it should still be worth it. (For me personally, I think the Character Builder will the the most important, though I hope to get a use for the Virtual Gaming Table, too.)

Any word on what the heightened price will be for a 12 month subscription? It doesn't alter my decision to subscribe, but I'm curious about budgeting for future expenses.
 

IIRC, when DDI was originally discussed, they were talking about around $10 per month for the full suite of applications: Character Builder, Game Table and Character Visualizer.

I think the exact number should be in one of the articles from Randy Buehler or Bill Slacvicek (sp?). I am not sure if they are available to non-subscribers, though. But I think $10 is about right.
 


£40 for 24 magazines over the course of a year is an absolute bargain.

The rest of the stuff is a handy bonus.

I wont make any use of the virtual tabletop stuff so the lack of it makes no difference to me.
