Instant Messenger Clients

First Post
A few years ago I saw a couple of instant messenger clients aimed at the RPG market. Now when I need one I can't find one.

Can anyone recommend an IM client for RPG use? I'm looking for something that can roll dice, allow me to show maps (preferable only a part at a time)...a battlemap would be nice.

Thanks,
Sterling

I think (but I don't know) something general purpose will do the job better than a specific, niche client. You could use IRC and a dice rolling bot for textual messages, teamspeak or skype for voice, and a small webserver (webserver software that is) to host the maps.

I bet I could slop something together :D What would the client need to do for you? What kind of interactions would you need with the players? What would you need to do that they shouldn't be able to? stuff like that.

It'd have to be more simple than the Fantasy Grounds program ... naturally ... since I wouldn't want to cut into their market, but if you can put together a feature list with absolute must haves, I'll work on it.
