Intelligence and Npc photos

I'm trying to find satellite intelligence photos for my d20 mod game and finding it a bit difficult. There is quite a bit but very little seems to be all collected. I'd also appreciate any help in finding just photos of people. I want to make up dossiers for npc villains. I thought that this might lend a little something to the game.

Try >THIS< site for satellite/arial photos. You have to subscribe to it but six dollars for five days is realy good concedering the amount of pictures you could gain in a few hours

If you are looking for pictures of just people then use actors or other famous people who would play an NPC or PC in a movie of the campaign. Just decided who the NPC would look like if in a movie and then type that persons name into your search engine.

You should be able to find all kinds of fan sites for just about anyone that you can take off the web and use in a dossier of the PC or NPC

You could also go to Internet Personals sites. People usually post pics of what they look like.

If you want pics of people not looking at the camera, get yourself a disposable camera, take a day off work and just spend the day following people.

I usually go to police department websites and other law enforcement agencies for photographs. The most wanted list is a good place to get mugshots. I like to use them in dossiers that I give to the players before specific missions.

I second the imdb.com for pictures. Be careful though, it is easy to typecast actors/npcs giving away plot lines.

The pcs in my game encountered an undercover neo-necromancer. I whip out a picture of Christoper Walken. Metagaming be damned! The jig was up, initiatives are rolled, baddy bites the dust (again). They KNEW something was up. Next time I must remember to use a picture of Vin Diesel. )

For my character and NPC picture needs, I go to What a Character. It has a bunch of photos of various character actors. Many of the actors there are not all that famous, so there's not so much recognition factor. Plus, a lot of the character actors look like ordinary people, so everyone in the world doesn't look like they stepped right off the pages of Cosmo or GQ.

Although you might want to be careful to avoid legal trouble for stalking.
