I haghly favor a modern game, but I'm not fully against a 1920s/30s game. I nether played in this time period with exception of Call of Cthulhu.

* A (+) means a favor for, (-) means acceptance, while (/) means indifference.


* We also have two other persons from the other forum currently interested in a modern game, [Jamal] and [Walking Dad].


* This brings the total number of interested parties for a modern game up to 7, a current limit for me.


* I would like to merge all interested parties into this thread since it is currently the larger and more active one.


* I apologize to our community friends at the other site.


* I do plan to run the God-Machine Rules update in this game. If you don't have the update, you can snag if for free from DriveThruRPG.


* Before we go any further I would like those listed for the modern day game to pitch their characters as names, character concepts, and a brief(!) [1-paragraph] sketch that includes at least one conflict (major or minor) for the character, whether internal, external, esoteric or exoteric. Keep in mind aspirations for later. The format could look something like:

NOTE: Depending on attrition during the thread merge, we may re-open recruitment, so if you are late to the party, post your character anyways and just make a note of that in your post

So, salient points for those here still interested in this.

* Since a large majority of the playerbase is already at RPG.net, I'm electing to do the game there. You will probably need an account there if you don't already have one. I apologize, its just a question of numbers at this point.

* If these two threads have gotten interest too fast and you haven't gotten a chance to respond to either, don't give up and post your character anyways. Due to the vagaries of attrition, there's always a chance a spot will open up

* We ARE RUNNING THE GOD-MACHINE RULES UPDATE. You will need the updated rule set. It is free from DriveThruRPG. Not the God Machine Chronicle Book, but the God Machine Rules update book. They are different. The rest of the salient information should be in my post that I quoted.

QUESTIONS:

Do you guys want to run awakenings in game or do them before play?

Do some of you want to run through them while others have them already be set?

Where do you want the game to take place. I'm a yank just to fyi. London was presented. I had a crazy idea for a mage game in Venice, but that might be sleep deprivation talking... but it sounds magical...

No, it will be elsewhere. This is because the majority of the players already have an account there while the minority of players have an account here. It doesn't make sense for 4-5 people to re-register versus 2.

The other thread exists in a private sub-forum of that website's main forum. You need to have a free account and be logged into that account to view and post into that sub-forum. If you are still interested in the game, you need to sign up there and make a quick post under that thread.

I'm not interested to register on another site.
