Interest in Delaware/MidAtlantic Gameday?

For a while now I've been considering holding a gameday event at my local gamestore. They have a reasonable amount of play area and with sufficient notice (and sufficient turnout), I could probably have the run of the game areas.

While Delaware is pretty small and almost all the gaming is centered in one area (with a decent secondary area), we are placed pretty close to a lot of areas. Pennsylvania, Maryland and New Jersey border us. Southern New York and northern Virginia are too much of a trip, either.

Would there be interest in attending?

Interested depending on date and time.

We'll see what sort of interest there is. In fact, if it's as limited as it seems so far, then it might be quite easy to arrange a small series of games.

Interesting that much of the interest is just a stone's throw away from DOKs.

You know I've heard of DOK, but I've never been there. Driving up to Newark is not very high on my list of things to do, not with Renaissance Games being so much closer.

I wasn't trying to suggest switching, and wouldn't (unless your local store is inadequate for your needs).

That being said, I did make it my goal to have hit every gaming store within a decent travel distance from my home. I haven't kept up with it recently, but as of a few years ago I hit everyone in Delaware, in nearby PA (up to about Exton) and all the ones around Virginia Beach (where an ex-girlfriend lived). I think the only store I missed was the Complete Strategist (because I couldn't find it the day I went up to King of Prussia).

It was enlightening. I saw more wasted potential than true hits, I have to admit.

I play at the Compleat Strategist several times a year.
Are you thinking of a gameday in Newark then? That is doable from Philly.
