We can set that character trace as a particular manner of speaking. Might be interesting for distinct charisma checks, hehe! "She surely sounds pompous..." "Really? I found her so wise and... sophisticated and... and... wise!"
Neurotic, 1500 years sounds about right! I guess we can set it up like it. Since you and Shayuri 's character share a link, I thought about merging your backgrounds with the plot.
jmucchiello, got it! I have a pretty decent idea of your character and I can merge the group together now. It's a great fit for the plot!
KahlessNestor, this fits in perfectly!
So, let me discuss with you guys a few ideas:
1) I had envisioned the factions to be representations of the 'barbaric' dilapidation of Laholt, lacking organization and leadership. It seems to me that the characters would be 'at home' if they belonged to these so-called 'invading hordes', since we have two wanderers, so to speak, and two nature-inclined characters.
2) A few ideas and questions that occurred me:
- Being from a monastic order and a protector, would Zyara might have been attracted towards the starting area on account of suspected demonic presence.
- As an adventurer, Daxio saw a opportunity to turn a profit, maybe even fall into the graces of a local lord, while helping an old friend. Turns out the old friend is as much a womanizer as he is, being a Satyr...
- Fintir and Aranel could belong to communities allied with the elves and Satyrs that took an ancient city, not too long ago. I was also considering how the kobold tribe deals with the elves, if there is any contact at all, of course.
There's more, but let's start here.
