There's been a concept bouncing around for a while that I've never gotten the chance to play.
A dwarf druid who refuses to use any metal at all, all his weapons are wood, stone, bone. Armor of hide or maybe plate armor made from stone. Barbaric and uncivilized guy has religion that considers mining and metalworking bad. At higher levels rides an advanced rust monster
Another is a bit more out there. I'd be willing to suck up the LA to play this guy, a blink dog sorcerer/rogue assassin and thief. "What's that dog doing in the shop?" "who cares it's a dog throw something at it" Of course after the merchant goes to sleep "bamf" he pops into the strongroom, "hello fiesty magical ^&*tches look at this bling" He can cast spells since they have a language which means they're able to speak technically. And who needs hands when you've got unseen servant or mage hand.
