Scythe wielding half white dragon fighter who told everyone he was death its self. He ended up going with Fighter 4/Sorcerer 6/Dragon Disciple 10. Lots of damage and making himself bigger were just the tip of the iceberg.

I've always wanted to play a halfling skald (druid/barbarian/bard), only rages while wildshaped with a quick, "Fine, you don't like the beauty? Then it's time for the beast!"

A concept I've been wanting to play but haven't yet is a Hafling or Gnome Barbarian/PsiWar (or Incarnum class)/Reaping Mauler* with Spiked Hide Armor, Clawed Gauntlets and vials of Trog Stink. His totems would be Wolverines, Porcupines & Skunks. I've planned on enchanting the spikes with weapon enchantments, and boosting his speed by any means I can find.

Essentially, Sonic the Hedgehog on steroids.

(*my current main group doesn't use anything besides the PHB and Feats/Spells/Equipment from expansion publications.)

There's been a concept bouncing around for a while that I've never gotten the chance to play.

A dwarf druid who refuses to use any metal at all, all his weapons are wood, stone, bone. Armor of hide or maybe plate armor made from stone. Barbaric and uncivilized guy has religion that considers mining and metalworking bad. At higher levels rides an advanced rust monster

Another is a bit more out there. I'd be willing to suck up the LA to play this guy, a blink dog sorcerer/rogue assassin and thief. "What's that dog doing in the shop?" "who cares it's a dog throw something at it" Of course after the merchant goes to sleep "bamf" he pops into the strongroom, "hello fiesty magical ^&*tches look at this bling" He can cast spells since they have a language which means they're able to speak technically. And who needs hands when you've got unseen servant or mage hand.

I came very close to running Ignatius T. Thwockpoddle: the pistol-packing (DMG) gnome conjurer with an unhealthily close relationship to his cat familiar and various summoned "friends" who's out for vengeance against the cultists that killed dear, *sob*, Fluffy I.

One of my favorite characters was a druid/wizard/mystic theurge who specialized in Conjuration.

Augment Summoning + Summon Nature's Ally + Animal Growth = DM's nightmare

Summoning aside, he was an incredibly versatile caster.
