Interesting DUNGEON Magazine Error

I just got the latest DUNGEON Magazine in the mail (#94, September/October with the Omega World d20 mini game in the POLY half). Just noticed something interesting - the magazine is numbered #92, not #94 on the spine. Anyone else catch this?

Now, the mail subscription versions of DUNGEON don't have a flipside POLYHEDRON "back" cover like the news stand versions - the cover appears inside the magazine (something about postal regulations). I'd be interested to find out if the news stand versions have the same issue numbering error.

Anyhow, I thought it was neat - perhaps I have a collectors item, and if not, maybe just something to tell the grandkids :)

And here I thought you were going to mention the MALE and FEMALE mind flayers in the last adventure. There is even a Pic of a FEMALE mind flayer showing far too much tentacle on page 88.

For the record, Mind Flayers are asexual creatures without any sexuality (looks at pic, REALLY?? ).

The process of Ceremorphosis completly reshapes the host body normally, but there could be exceptions. I have been working up an idea of a Failed Ceremorph template that could be applied to a creature.

The Illithiad is the best source of Knowledge(Mind Flayer ), even with 2e rules.
It is available as a Download at SVGames here:

Folks,

The misnumbered spine is a simple mistake common to both subscriber and newsstand issues. An unfortunate product of sending the magazine to press the exact day we had to vacate WotC.

So, um, it's a "collector's item" in the same sense as any of our issues. :)
