Intimidating questions

I was wonderin...

Would it be possible to change the behavior of several enemies with one intimidate check (or for that matter with one Diplomacy check ?) Like for instance, could a barbarian demoralize a group of kobolds with a single intimidate check?

In my searches, I've read somewhere (a HR probably) that if your trying to Intimidate a group, the DC is +2 for each additional target. Does that seem balanced? And would it be the same when attempting a diplomacy check on several opponents?

I was also wondering, you can take -10 on your diplomacy check to change the attitude of others as a full round action (rushed diplomacy), why can't you do the same with an intimidate check?

Thanx in advance :)

IMO, not per the RAW.

It would seem acceptable. It'd be as if every member of the group was aiding (as per the Aid Another rule) the one opponent that you're trying to demoralize.

Because you don't need to. An Intimidate check to demoralize an opponent is a standard action.

Thanks for your reply

I was aware of that :)

What I meant was making a rushed intimidate check (as a full round action) to treat the target as "friendly" which, IMHO, has much more potential than simply demoralizing it.
