I like it! I've been playing D&D with my daughter since she's been five. We have a great time at it. Lately, thou, we've been playing Microlite20 (1, 2). Most of our games have been on the fly lately with the new 1 month old baby. We game when we can! Our family needs to get back to our D&D campaign thou, we are in the middle of a quest to rescue a fairy queen's crown. Just haven't had time to set up a big serious 3.5e session.

Even thou she's been playing for a year now, I'm going to print this and run her through it. Its a great introduction adventure, and she would benefit from it, big time.

Thanks for sharing!

This fella has posted about his kids and their adventures with D&D on quite a few occasions, although I don't think he's posted anything recently. You might try chatting him up. There's actually some really cool stories in there, like how his son DMed for him!

I hope my kids are as cool as his... :)

I remember Rel had a story hour about some of the adventures that he ran for his daughter. She was about 3 at the time if I remember correctly so it may not be all that useful for you. :D

Glad to see everyone is doing their part to continue the hobby.

I am making it available gratis as a Word document for anyone who might like to use it in a similar fashion.

Wait, what's the DC on the Strength check to open the stuck door? If they pick that option, the adventure's unplayable! ;)

Did you deliberately make getting up off a slab (standard action) more difficult than standing up off the floor (move action)?

Actually, as strange as it might sound, I thought the adventure was cute! How did your daughter do? It reminded me of the old choose your own adventure books. Very nice! :)

That's pretty cool. 7 is also the age my kids started to play D&D.

I started with candy thieves mystery, princess to save and that kind of thing.

There is also the RL adventure "The Created", where the adults are transformed into puppets. I had fun DMing this with them, leaving out the most dark RL parts.
