"Invalid Thread" -- I am informing an administrator!

I am receiving XP on a thread that seems to have disappeared!

Works perfectly for me. Is there any chance the thread starter has blocked you?

Oh, is this what happens when that happens?

I was disagreeing with the OP but politely, I thought.

I'm kinda perturbed that a thread-starter can lock people out of the discussion entirely.

There isn't really an elegant way around it if theirs is the first post in a thread. I'm open to suggestions, but simply hiding the OP's post and pretending post #2 is then the OP would just make a hideous confusing mess.
